YUNG XANH, is a genderqueer, non binary, 2nd generation Vietnamese American DJ based in the Bay Area. “XANH” is the vietnamese translation of the colors green or blue and the hue spectrum in and between green and blue. Xanh is also used to describe green, young and unripe fruit which is synonymous to their sound – still growing and changing. YUNG XANH’s music is genre bending and nonconforming. They have played at venues like The New Parish as well as organized safe dance spaces and events for QTPOC such as Hunnies & Hot Sauce and Humpday Hunnies.
